Everyone is attached to their smartphone these days and yet many companies still ignore this exponentially growing market. There are estimated 1.75 billion smartphone users worldwide. According to Matt Cutts, global mobile traffic is about 30% of all internet activity and mobile searches are predicted to surpass traditional laptop and desktop searches in 2014. It is impossible to keep up with all the different resolutions and screen sizes of devices coming out all the time not to mention the ability to switch from landscape to portrait just by turning the screen. How do we design for all these different devices? The answer is to make everything flexible with responsive web design.
