Approximately two-thirds of all Californians - an estimated 23 million people - obtain at least some of their water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. This means the Delta is the single largest source of California’s water. The Delta is a system that must support multiple ecosystems – 40 percent of the state’s watersheds drain into the Delta, through the San Francisco Bay and out to the vast Pacific Ocean. Everyone agrees that the system is profoundly broken!

These four experts, representing diverse perspectives, will give an overview of current proposals for repairing the ecosystem and bolstering the reliability of water supplies. Register early for this event at the Embassy Suites in North San Rafael. Tickets are $30 per person and include a full organic breakfast buffet. Call 415-485-6257 to pay by credit card, or mail in the registration form with your check or charge information.
