Weekend of October 2 - 4

Volunteers for Outdoor California (V-O-Cal) is sponsoring a mega- weekend of trail work on one of Mt. Tam's gems: the north Miwok Trail from Diaz Ridge down to Redwood Creek. This hiking and equestrian trail traverses open grassland and bay-oak woodlands, offering views of the Mt. Tamalpais and the Muir Woods ridgelands, before joining the Redwood Creek trail on its way to the sea.

An event flyer is attached. You don't have to move dirt to join up... there's volunteer opportunities for camp organizers, food prep, registration, etc. If your time is really limited, sign-up for just the day you choose. But for the best experience, plan on camping, being fed multiple meals, and spending two great days making this trail better for everyone.
